Pricing

The price payable for goods is set out on the website. Although vapehound.co.uk endeavour to make sure all prices are accurate, products can be mis-priced on occasion. We are free to make changes due to supplier price increases, the imposition of taxes and duties, or errors when the price is published to you. We will send you the correct information and give you a grace period for you to cancel your order if required.

Payment

All digital or verbal orders received by vapehound.co.uk have the right to be cancelled after 7 calendar days if payment has not been received by the available means and the item(s) shall no longer be reserved. vapehound.co.uk is not liable for any losses you may incur by not supplying your item(s).

Availability

vapehound.co.uk may cancel an order at any time due to a lack of availability. If you are not supplied with the goods, you will be entitled to a full refund of said goods if you have already paid. However, vapehound.co.uk is not liable for any other losses you may incur if we do not supply your item(s).

Governing Laws

These terms are governed by the laws of the United Kingdom. The district courts within the United Kingdom have the exclusive jurisdiction regarding any and all disputes relating to these terms.

Battery Safety

For your complete safety and security we must advise you of the following.

Electronic cigarettes use lithium-ion batteries which can be volatile if improperly used. If you purchase a battery through vapehound.co.uk it is your responsibility to take the following safety precautions:

General guidance and advice:

• By using one of our batteries you accept and take full responsibility for the general and known risks associated with using lithium-ion batteries such as overheating and exploding which can cause fire, personal injury and property damage.
• Make sure the user has enough knowledge of Lithium-ion rechargeable batteries in charging, discharging and assembly before use.
• Ensure you have purchased the correct charger from Vape Hound (if it is not already included with the product you purchase) and do not use any questionable e-cigarette charger units purchased from other outlets and vendors or use any other method of charging such as computers, iPhone plugs, car chargers etc.
• Always charge in/on a fire-proof surface and maintain a visual watch over your battery/ies whilst charging. Never leave the battery charging unsupervised.
• Never continue to charge or use an e-cigarette device if you can feel the battery getting hot. If your battery becomes hot to the touch, or if it begins smelling, turn the device off immediately (if it is safe to do so) and let it cool down outside on a heat proof surface. The battery should then be disposed of safely.

Vapes Hound is not responsible for damage if there is any modification of the batteries/chargers in any form or shape (including pack making). We are not responsible for any damage caused by misuse or mishandling of Lithium-Ion batteries and chargers. We will not be held responsible or liable for any injury, damage, or defect, permanent or temporary that may be caused by the use of any batteries.

Devices with an integrated battery

• Avoid leaving your device in extreme temperatures, whether hot or cold
• Avoid leaving your device charging when you are not present or asleep
• Be cautious if you have dropped your device or it has received any other damage
• Turn off your device when not in use or being transported

Devices with external battery/ies:

• Avoid leaving your device / batteries in extreme temperatures, whether hot or cold.
• Use an external charger to charge your batteries if possible as they have more safety protections.
• If charging via a cable, avoid leaving your device charging when you are not present or asleep.
• Do not use batteries in poor condition, for example with any dents, a deteriorated battery wrap, or any other visible damage.
• Replace old batteries when necessary – you will notice they take longer to charge and drain faster.
• Never transport loose batteries in your pocket or bag etc – always use a cover to avoid possible contact with other objects.
• Turn off your device when not in use or being transported

Nicotine Safety

Nicotine in its pure form, when taken in high enough doses can kill. It is classed as a poison. Please treat this product with the utmost care and ensure that you adhere to the following advice:

• Keep e-liquids locked up, out of reach of children and animals at all times.
• Seek medical advice immediately if this product is swallowed.

• Cartridges or unused e-liquid material and their containers must be disposed of in a safe way with due care to both man and the environment.

• To avoid risk to man and the environment, comply with the following instructions of use:
• Not to be used by anyone under the age of 18.
• Not to be used by people who demonstrate sensitivity to nicotine.
• Not to be used by people with heart conditions/unstable heart conditions.
• Not to be used by people with blood pressure problems.
• Not to be used while pregnant or breastfeeding.
• Keep your electronic e-cigarette device locked away at all times.
• The amount of nicotine in one cartridge if ingested by a small child could cause serious harm. In this case, medical assistance must be sought immediately without delay.
